The Bostonian Society
August 2016 – Present
Provides tours and site information for the Old State House Museum which sees over 100,000 visitors a year. Researches history of the building and Boston’s place at the start of the Revolutionary War. Lead school group programs, such as our “You Be the Judge” Boston Massacre trial reenactment program and our “Witness to a Massacre” primary source analysis program. Building the new Revolutionary Characters school program through researching Mercy Otis Warren and bringing her character and perspective to life for students. Wrote a tour and two blog posts on the topic of tea globally and locally. Assumed additional responsibility as a producer for Blood on the Snow, a site-specific play about the events following the Boston Massacre, including facilitating post-show conversations. Took on added responsibilities in the Development office.

Cultural Site Interpreter
Castle Hill, The Crane Estate
June 2016 – December 2017
Provided tours and site information for the 60,000 visitors a year who come to Castle Hill on the Crane Estate. Responsible for educating the public on the Crane Family and the estate through first-person interpretation as a lady’s maid. Responsible for staying up to date on the various projects, events, and a working knowledge of the Trustees and the 116+ properties. Participated as a costumed character for 2016 (Great House of Frankenstein) and 2017 (Jekyll and Hyde: A Castle Hill Halloween Party) Halloween interactive theater experiences. Was awarded the 2017 Story Teller Award by the North of Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau for work at Castle Hill.

USA Dance, Inc.

Currently the Assistant District Director for District 4 (MA, NY, VT, NH, and ME). Previously acted in the role of Member-at-Large (2012), Treasurer (2013-2014), and President (2015-2016) for Chapter #3033: Green Mountain VT. USA Dance, Inc is the overarching body for competitive dancesport and social ballroom dancing in the United States and is a member of the US Olympic Committee. Responsibilities have included running monthly dances, keeping track of chapter finances, creating board meeting agendas and running meetings, keeping track of volunteer hours, keeping in touch with district chapters, among other duties.
