New idea that I’m launching that will fold into my Bookshop.org store front!

Moms need a support system, and it just is not there. So I’m looking to find ways to create those connections, and maybe center it around books too. Starting this month, you’ll see some changes coming to me Bookshop.org affiliate page. The focus will be more on both parenting books as well as mysteries. But the end-all-be-all will be heading toward the next step. A book reading forum for moms. Is it book club? Yes. But it will also be space for moms to vent and compare notes with each other.

Some ideas of what types of groups we’re looking at includes moms who are breastfeeding for longer than average, who might need support for either breastfeeding or weaning. Also connecting parents who still need fellow parent friends but have older children. (Parenting support groups tend to only be for new moms.)

Moms don’t have villages the way they used to. I’d like to find a way to bring the calm I find in a good book and a cuppa to other moms.
